Drawing upon my own personal experiences, as well as my clinical training, I work as one with my clients to devise a plan of action that will alleviate whatever issues they may be dealing with. My goal is to help people, but more so it is to give people the strength to help them help themselves. My theoretical approach involves various aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, or CBT. This approach is most prominent when dealing with issues, of anxiety, depression, and, especially eating disorders. However, therapy is not a one size fits all model. Everyone is unique, and at its core, therapy is a collaborative relationship. With that being said, when working together, I will push my clients to and past their boundaries because, limits, like fears, are often just an illusion.
